Marketing your home correctly,
getting you all that it's worth!
As your real estate agent, I'll bring my experience of successfully buying and selling homes in the local market. I know the neighborhoods, schools, market conditions, zoning regulations and what it takes to make the deal go through.
It takes a full-time commitment - anything less and you'd be short changed. As a full-time agent, I'm able to "work the market" for you, keeping up-to-date with new listings and conditions as they impact the market.
This website is one piece of a multi-faceted service commitment that combines personal, one-on-one attention with dynamic web and e-mail resources to deliver the most comprehensive and timely service to you.
As your agent I believe that service doesn't end at closing. This website provides buyers, sellers and those that are somewhere in between a host of information and helpful links for almost any real estate question you may have. If you are a past client, I hope you use this site to increase your knowledge of our community just as much as someone new to the area might use it. If you don't find it here, give me a call. I consider it my duty to serve you until you are 100% satisfied and I am happy to find the answer you are looking for.
Unlike many realtors who work part-time or advertise in every publication they can find hoping to capture that next deal, my portfolio has been built on reputation...a reputation for handling deals professionally, personably, and with the greatest value to my clients. All it takes is a call to see why so many of my clients continue to refer those they care about to me.
It would be my honor to serve as your real estate agent. Let's get together to talk about your home buying and/or selling plans. Call me at the office (630) 718-0424, cell phone (630)532-1025 or send me an e-mail (mbockey@gmail.com ), we'll set-up a time to meet that is easy and convenient for you.

January posts second highest home sales for the month in Illinois .
Total home sales (which include single-family and condominiums) were down 2.4 percent in January 2006 to 9,126 homes sold, compared to the all-time high for January of 9,352 homes sold in January 2005. The Illinois median home price in January was $201,731, up 9.3 percent from $184,500 a year earlier. “Price appreciation continues to be favorable in Illinois while we’re beginning to see a shift to a more balanced market from one that heavily favored sellers for the last several years ,” said IAR President Stan Sieron. Learn more in IAR Market Stats.
A turning point in the housing market .
Says NAR forecaster Lawrence Yun, Ph.D.: “The market has shifted fundamentally and people need to understand that the double-digit rate of home price appreciation that they’ve been used to is, with the exception of a few local markets, history. Home sellers will have to adjust their price expectations and sell their homes at more competitive prices. Rather than putting a home on the market at a 15 percent higher price than last year, sellers need to adjust their expected price only 5 percent higher." Read NAR's Real Estate Insights.
Naperville High School Boundary Changes
January 25, 2006
Last week's Boundary Open Houses drew more than 1,800 attendees. At Monday night's Board of Education meeting, 121 community members signed up to provide comments to the board. This feedback, combined with the 5,000 emails received, has been helpful in understanding the community's thoughts on the proposed high school boundary options.
The feedback prompted the board to look further for other solutions. After taking into account the community's feedback, the board discussed two revised options at Monday night's meeting. I will keep you posted the best I can with links and information as it comes along. Thanks! Michelle B. Proposed High School Boundaries=Important Links
