I created this page as a resource guide for people who are looking to build a new home but dont know where to start. There are over 4,000 builders in the Chicagoland area alone.
What sets the builders apart and how does one begin to choose what builder to use in building their new home? I will provide links as well as information as it is available to me.
I have had the privelige to visit many of the builders homes that are local to Naperville, Plainfield, Aurora, Shorewood and Oswego. (Some builders may be located in these areas but also will have land and homes in areas that I did not mentioned). It has been a pleasure and eye opener as well as a great learning experience as I speak with these builders and feel their passions and creativity that they so full heartedly put into their workmanship of their homes.
I share this passion with them. Perhaps not the full experience of a tradesman but the passion for creativity and taking the building experience or the "dream" to the next level. Not all builders have the ability to be creative in design, yes there is a difference in builders just like there is a difference in doctors, attorneys, and business owners. Some do the motions and the money is good and business works. But yes, there are those that you truly enjoy and respect and would use them again. Those are the builders that I will share with you.
I encourage you to meet with them, see their plans and discuss what your desires and needs are for your next home.
